I was a slightly older brat, but still incredible annoying, when I first heard this. The opening was easy, but figuring out Ray's Syncopation between left and right hand was frustratingly beyond me.
Then - my mom and I were in Victoria and I was wandering around a music shop when I heard someone playing What'd I Say the right way. It turned out to be a customer - who I hounded until he showed me in slow, slow motion what was going on. With that as a start, I finally got it figured out.
