Kathryn Minner was the "Little Old Lady from Pasadena" that appeared in a series of Dodge TV commercials and is also seen on Jan and Dean's Album Cover. I tried to find some of her old commercials without any luck.

There was a persistent rumor that while Kathryn Minner was an actress, there was a real Little Old Lady from Pasadena that had the requisite super stock Dodge that terrorized Colorado Boulevard. One of the rumors was that it was the wife of Norm Thatcher. It was never confirmed then or now.

When I used to run at Houston Drag Raceway down on IH 45 South, my mom made a couple time trial passes in one of my cars. Later when I got the 426 Hemi, she was going to repeat the performance, but while she could handle a stick shift, she couldn't handle the clutch behind the 426 - it was too hard for her to press and she wasn't very big.
