The percussion on this one took a lot of synthesizer tweaking to get the sound more or less right. I've got a melodic tom-tom drum available that can "play" notes like a tympani, but I never could get it to sound right. I ended up modifying the mix of marimba, kalimba, and the two bongos to generate the distinctive sound.
