I've always liked this song - Meat Loaf gives new meaning to Power Ballad. My only problem with it is that it's a "downer" song.
I've tried to find the reference again, but somewhere, sometime, I read that the girl "that left him on a stormy night" after telling him that "two out of three ain't bad" is the SAME girl that he's now saying the same thing back to her. I've looked over the lyrics and can't seem to make that fit, but I did read it someplace.
The strangest thing about the song is that the Japanese version was released under the title, "66% Is Good Enough." I think something got lost in translation.
