I couldn't have been much more than three, maybe four, and was probably the last person on Earth that hadn't heard White Christmas. The local TV station ran "The Late Show" which was a different movie each night. This was long before the networks had "Late Shows." I was already a night owl (I still am - I'm writing this at 3:14 AM) and so I watched a different movie most nights while studying or reading. Anyway, one night, Holiday Inn was playing and I finally heard White Christmas. Bing made a second movie that featured the song, appropriately called White Christmas but it first appeared in Holiday Inn. By the way, the movie title is where the name of the Holiday Inn hotel chain came from.
