This is the second of a four album set of DJ type radio play. In other words, just my usual random selections with no pretense at putting them together in some kind of logical order.
I've thought about doing some single artist albums, but the problem is that I've already done a lot of songs by the folks that could support a single album. As I write this for the web, 5/26/2019, I've done 20 Beach Boys , 44 Beatles , 9 Elvis , 14 Eagles , 8 Roy Orbison , etc., etc. I'll be doing more of theirs and other folks, but it's doubtful I'll have 20 or so for a single artist ready to go at any one time. Maybe at some point, I can reissue some single artist collections.
(By the way, the reason I've only done 9 by Elvis isn't that he hasn't done a lot of great songs. The reason is that he's one of the hardest for me to do. So much of his songs are his amazing vocals. It's difficult to capture the essence properly in an instrumental. Same with the Stones because of Mick Jagger's vocals.)
The other problem with a single artist album is before I finally burn an album to a CD I've listened to it dozens of time to get it produced. That's not counting how many, many times I have to listen to each individual song to get it more or less right. I like the prolific artists a lot, but I'm not sure I can listen to just them continuously for the time it takes to get an album ready to burn.
Anyway, enough ruminations, (you likely stopped reading a long time ago anyway,) let's get to the music.

PS The antenna shown on the album cover has never been used for any music broadcast, (at least as far as I know. I guess it could have been used to entertain any passing interstellar visitors.)
It is actually one of the twenty-eight 25 meter dishes that make up the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array radio telescope located west of Socorro, New Mexico . I took this photo a few years ago during a visit to the facility. A trip to the site is another place that's well worth adding to your bucket list.
