This and the next three albums are basically me "cleaning house." It's pretty obvious by now that there is no rhyme or reason to my song selections. I randomly think of a song, or look through my singles and LP's, or find one in my Billboard Top 40 book , or hear one in a store, etc. and think that it might work pretty well.
I've accumulated almost a hundred random songs in my "Inventory" folder that I can't figure out any cohesive themes to use to put them together into albums. It was a major effort to stay focused long enough to do the Christmas Album and not go chasing after everything else. I managed the British Album simply because I had that many Brit songs in "inventory."
So - facing that dilemma, I'll just play disc jockey and spin them up kind of semi-randomly. Hence the title.
Actually, in some aspects, this is a little better than a radio station. No annoying commercials for stuff you will never buy. No chitchat from Hudson and Harrigan "personality DJ" wannabes. No news, no sports, no weather. Just back to back solid music.
So - let's spin some classic vinyl - coming right at all you folks out in Radioland - 22 in a row .

PS The album cover was created in Corel Draw and Corel Photo‑Paint , my graphic suite of choice. I can't remember which Houston radio station we went to, but on a school field trip we got to watch the DJ's in their booth through a hallway window. I remember the lighted On The Air sign and the acoustic tile on the walls to keep down the noise - particularly from a gaggle of school brats.
